How Explore Technologies LLC handles personal data — on this website, and in the course of our work.

Last updated: 18 August 2026

In short

This website collects no personal data about you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party content, and contains no forms. There is no tracking to opt out of, because there is none to begin with.

The only personal data we hold about visitors is what you choose to send us — an email, and whatever you put in it.

Who is responsible

Explore Technologies LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Address: 5555 San Felipe, Houston, Texas, United States
Privacy contact: privacy@explore-technologies.com

What this website does and does not collect

Our hosting provider records standard server request logs — including IP address, timestamp, requested file and user agent — for security, abuse prevention and reliability. That processing is necessary to operate and defend the service, and those logs are retained for a short period by the provider in the ordinary course.

  • No cookies — we set none, of any kind — not necessary, not analytical, not advertising.
  • No analytics — we do not measure, profile or fingerprint visitors.
  • No third-party resources — all fonts, styles, scripts, images and video are served from our own domain. Nothing you load here calls out to another company.
  • No forms and no accounts — there is nothing on this site to fill in or sign into.
  • No client-side storage — no local storage, session storage or similar.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use it to respond and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship.

We do not use enquiry details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or share them.

Lawful bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Legitimate interests — responding to your enquiry, operating and securing the website, and protecting our rights.
  • Performance of a contract — where we are delivering work for you or negotiating to do so.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records or respond to lawful requests.
  • Consent — only where we ask for it explicitly. We do not rely on consent for anything on this website, because we collect nothing that would need it.

Data we handle for our customers

In delivering software, automation and monitoring systems, we process operational data on behalf of our customers — which can include information about their personnel, such as driver identities, timekeeping and location history.

For that data our customer is the controller and we act as processor under their instructions and our written agreement with them. If you are an employee or contractor of one of our customers and want to exercise rights over that data, please contact your employer as controller; we will support them in responding.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We disclose personal data only to: service providers who help us operate (notably our hosting and email providers, acting under contract); professional advisers where necessary; and authorities where we are legally required to do so.

International transfers

Our website and email are hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your message will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Where such a transfer involves personal data protected by EU or UK law, we rely on appropriate safeguards — including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK Addendum where applicable — together with supplementary measures as needed. You may request further detail about these safeguards at the privacy contact above.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and then delete it. Data processed for customers is retained according to the agreement with that customer.

Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data, and a copy of it.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
  • Erasure — have your data deleted where one of the grounds in the GDPR applies.
  • Restriction — have our processing limited in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — receive data you provided in a portable format, where applicable.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, where we relied on consent.
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — for example your national data protection authority in the EEA, or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

Your rights in the United States

Depending on your state of residence — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and comparable laws in other states — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access a copy, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no opt-out to exercise in that respect. We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@explore-technologies.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will only ask for what is necessary to do so. You may use an authorised agent where the law permits.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to correspondence and customer data to those who need it, and we design the systems we build so that access is role-based and actions are auditable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children's data

This website is a business-to-business site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data — including if we ever introduce analytics, cookies or forms — we will update this policy and the date below before or when that change takes effect.
